The turntable part of a tablet press

The turntable of the rotary tablet press is a circular disk, and the punching rod holes and the middle die holes are evenly distributed in the surrounding areas. When it rotates under the drive of the main shaft, each punch rod moves up and down along the curved guide rail, thus completing the tablet pressing process. The turntable is the main working part of the tablet press. In the continuous working process, the analysis and solution of its common faults are given.

(1) the coaxiality of the two holes caused by long-term wear of the punch hole or the middle die hole does not meet the requirements: in the process of use, the punch hole and the middle die hole due to different degrees of wear will likely appear different axial phenomenon, so that the punch rod up and down movement friction resistance increases, serious will lead to normal compression. If the wear is not very serious, the coaxiality can be restored by using reamer to punch the rod hole, and the rotary table needs to be replaced when the wear is serious.

(2) the upward movement of the turntable affects the filling or the film: the upward movement of the turntable is generally caused by the loosening of the taper locking block of the fixed turntable, which can be solved by fastening the taper locking block. If there is a problem with the fastening screw, it should be replaced immediately.

(3) the loosening of the top wire of the middle die causes the upward movement of the middle die and wears the feeder: the upward movement of the middle die is mostly caused by the loosening of the top wire of the middle die, which can be solved by fastening the top wire of the middle die. The top wire of the middle die is a wearing part, which can not fasten the middle die due to long-term wear and tear. It should be replaced in time.
